For 10 years, the MIT Sloan Alumni Board has worked to create a strong, supportive, and visible global community that benefits alumni, students, and the school.

At the MIT Sloan Alumni Online event in March, Ajit Kambil, SB ’85, SM ’89, PhD ’93, discussed insights from Deloitte’s CFO Transition Lab and his recent book, The Leadership Accelerator.

Over 1,300 Sloanies and their guests returned to campus in early June to attend MIT Sloan Reunion 2023.

Interim Dean Georgia Perakis provided alumni at MIT Sloan Reunion 2024 with updates on the state of the school and told everyone how proud she was of them.

In late January, Brazil launched the RendA+ treasury bond instrument, a new retirement security adapted from the work of School of Management Distinguished Professor of Finance and Nobel Prize in Economics laureate Robert C. Merton, PhD ’70, and Arun Muralidhar, PhD ’92.

On the final evening of MIT Sloan Reunion 2022, John C Head III Dean David Schmittlein delivered the “State of the School” address in person for the first time in three years.

"This work demands consistency and collaboration and can be challenging. However, patience and partnership can yield amazing results for organizations."

The annual networking event brings together local alumni and students from all degree programs to strengthen personal and professional ties across the MIT Sloan community.

Over 1,100 members of the alumni community came together in early June to reconnect and continue learning at the 2021 MIT Sloan Virtual Reunion.
