As an MFin student, you have access to both the MIT Sloan CDO and MIT Career Advising & Professional Development (CAPD) for job postings, company events, and interview opportunities.
The MIT Sloan CDO organizes recruiting and networking events across a range of industries and functions. CDO’s robust network in finance will help you connect with employers and explore numerous career opportunities, including asset management, investment banking, corporate finance, hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, big data and analytics, fintech, and management consulting.
Through company presentations, office hours/coffee chats, industry events, club collaborations, and networking events, you can explore opportunities you may not have considered before. As you evaluate opportunities, the CDO Employer Relations and Recruiting Team is a valuable resource for insights into recruiting processes and market trends, sharing information through CDO’s career portals.
Early in the fall, the CDO organizes an annual MFin Networking Night, welcoming representatives from top companies who join us on campus specifically to meet you! In the winter, the Sloanies Helping Sloanies networking reception helps you connect with MIT Sloan alumni to make career connections. In the spring, the MIT Sloan Career Fair showcases new and fast-growing companies that are seeking candidates to fill their newest opportunities.
Similarly, across campus, the CAPD team kicks off the recruiting season every September with the MIT Career Fair, the campus’ largest career fair, and a valuable opportunity to network with hundreds of companies. The MIT community also hosts targeted industry and regional career fairs throughout the year.
